let your brand identity
Speak for you
The Process
-
1. Project start
After you’re booked in, you’ll hear from me a couple of weeks before your project start date with the steps that need to be completed before work begins. This includes a branding questionnaire about you, your business and how you envision your brand. It also includes a Pinterest board of design inspiration such as designs you are drawn to, colour palettes, typography styles, etc. This helps to get a feel for the design aesthetics you like.
-
2. Strategy
Once the initial steps have been taken and I know everything I need to about you and your business, I will put together a mood board and strategy for your brand. It will include a rough colour palette, typography and design style that we will use as inspiration for your new visual identity, keeping in mind your target audience. This is where we will agree on a general direction for your brand identity so that we are both on the same page and the concept stage can go as seamlessly as it can.
-
3. Time to design
I’ll then go on to design not only the logo but the whole identity for your business (depending on the package chosen), from the colours to branding elements, patterns and alternative brand marks, as well as the tone of voice and anything else that springs to mind while I’m working. I’ll create a concept presentation including mock-ups of how your branding can be applied across social media and print materials.
-
4. Revisions
Once the concept presentation has been sent and you’ve had time to process the designs, you can let me know how you feel. If there are revisions you’d like to see, this is where it’ll happen. At this stage, I hope for the majority of the branding to be in place and it’s just little tweaks that are required.
-
5. Deliverables
Once the revisions have been made and the designs are approved, I’ll put together the final assets for you. This will include the logos in PNG and JPG format as well as any other format you need. All logos will be in colour and monochrome and optimized for both web and print. Any design elements, patterns or backgrounds will also be included. A brand style guide will be created that outlines your logo, colour palette, typography and anything else that pertains to your brand identity. This is a handy document that helps you maintain brand consistency.
-
6. Launch day
I’ll go on to put together any social media templates and any other materials (depending on the package chosen) and get everything in order so that your branding looks amazing and you’re ready to elevate your business to the next level, feeling completely confident in your visual identity across the board!
